The Holistic Life Institute of Learning was founded in 1998 in Modesto, CA with a basic 100-hour Holistic Health Advisor program. In 1999, in response to growing demand, we moved to a larger facility in Oakdale.
Now, 25 years later, HLIL has grown to include over 1500 hours of career training. Our Oakdale campus boasts over a thousand area graduates, many of whom have gone on to open their own holistic health practice in states as far away as Alaska.
Our program includes access to all the courses, materials, and tools needed in order to open one’s own healing practice.

The Holistic Life Institute of Learning is a member of the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), which serves the massage therapy community through practice support, ethical standards, legislative advocacy, and public education.
The Holistic Life Institute of Learning has received the Better Business Bureau‘s “Award of Excellence” and maintains an A+ rating.
